People & AI Expertise

People and AI, Applied with Purpose

The right expertise for the work: human specialists, AI advisors, or both.

Adaptiv Stratum leads each engagement with accountable people. Depending on the scope, we may draw on independent human specialists for judgment and delivery capacity, use defined AI advisory roles for research and analysis, or bring the two together. The mix follows the problem, not a fixed staffing formula.

A project-specific approach

Capability follows the need.

Some work calls for experienced people, some benefits from AI-supported analysis, and some needs both. We define each role, its access, and how its work will be reviewed before it is used.

People remain accountable. We can work with human specialists, AI advisors, or a coordinated combination; the responsible people retain decisions, approvals, and oversight. How we govern the work →

Fit, evidence, accountability

How we select expertise and oversee delivery.

We start with the business outcome, then choose the platforms, specialists, and AI support the work requires. Selection and implementation stay accountable to the same requirements.

Define the need

Agree on the operating outcome, required skills and capabilities, existing systems, and acceptance conditions before choosing a provider or specialist.

Compare practical options

Check capabilities, experience, integrations, security, data control, support, total cost, and exit options. Verify material claims against the actual requirement, not just a polished demonstration.

Use AI to strengthen the review

AI advisors can research options, organize evidence, and challenge assumptions within approved boundaries. People select providers, authorize actions, and approve consequential decisions.

Verify delivery and handover

Review milestones, test operating and failure conditions, and plan migration and recovery. Confirm training, documentation, ownership, access, and support before handover.

A sourcing network is not a standing project team. Named specialists and terms are reviewed for each engagement. Technical and operational review does not replace qualified legal advice on contracts.

Independent Review

Independent Review advisors

How the AI advisory system works

How our AI advisors work together.

An operating question determines which AI roles are relevant. They can examine approved evidence, compare options, and challenge assumptions. People review the result and retain decision authority.

  1. Frame the question

Define the operating problem, available evidence, constraints, and decision that needs support.

  2. Select relevant roles

Use the minimum relevant specialist set, with a lead role coordinating contributions when needed.

  3. Challenge the evidence

Separate verified evidence from assumptions and test whether conclusions withstand independent technical and risk review.

  4. Human review and decision

Present a traceable recommendation for review. Accountable people decide, approve, or request more evidence.

Capability and permission stay separate.

An AI agent may analyze a subject broadly without being permitted to make the resulting operational decision. Adaptiv Stratum separates analytical capability from system permissions, approval authority, and accountable human judgment.

Example operating question

Should we implement predictive maintenance on this equipment?

Argus reviews instrumentation and telemetry. Aegis examines failure modes and maintenance history. Apollo checks evidence quality. Pythia evaluates analytical paths. Hermes researches current platforms. Themis reviews risk boundaries. Momus challenges the proposal. Clio validates the evidence.

The objective is to use the minimum relevant specialist set and independent review appropriate to the consequence of the decision.

Start with the problem

Discuss an operating challenge.

Tell us what needs to be understood or delivered. We can propose the human specialist, AI advisory, or combined approach that fits. We will also identify who owns each decision.
